I am the President of the Greater Sacramento Main Street Chamber.

My wife and I live in Rio Linda, Ca. I have lived and worked in the Sacramento area for thirty years. In 1982 I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY and worked as a Chef and Food Service Manager in several different locations. My marketing experience comes from several self employment ventures including food styling, television cooking programs, food service consulting, catering, and event sales.

I find the world of marketing exciting and jam packed with interesting people. It’s hard not to get excited when working with independent small business owners who are taking their lives in their own hands and pursuing the dream of self employment.

Nowhere is that more important than when it comes to working with payroll costs, taxes, and worker’s compensation issues. Most of the owners I meet want to follow the rules and do the right thing for their employees. But the State of California, the IRS, and the various agencies seem bent on making it near impossible for them. It’s satisfying to be the person who can help them by taking the unknown, or confusing, facts and figures, clear and straightforward.

I enjoy working with HR Support and in providing marketing and growth opportunities the Greater Sacramento entrepreneurial community.
